For PY2025, each project monitored by Affordable Housing Connections (AHC) has annual reporting requirements with a submission due date of Wednesday, February 18, 2026, by the end of the business day. Reports not submitted by this date and/or that are incomplete may be considered noncompliant. If you are unable to submit a complete report(s) by this date, contact your portfolio lead. Social Security Announces 2.8 Percent Benefit Increase for 2026
The Social Security Administration has published the Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2026. Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for over 75 million Americans will increase 2.8 percent in 2026. The 2.8 percent COLA will begin with benefits payable to Social Security beneficiaries in January 2026, with increased payments to SSI beneficiaries beginning on December 31, 2025. The 2026 HUD Passbook Savings Rate will be 0.40% effective January 1, 2026. On August 5, 2025, HUD posted the Inflation-Adjusted Values and Passbook Savings Rate for 2026. See Annual Inflationary Adjustments and Passbook Rate for more information. This online, on-demand course will walk you through the Minneapolis IZ program from initial lease up, to qualifying a household, to annual reporting requirements. 2025 COLA Increase
Social Security Announces 2.5 Percent Benefit Increase for 2025 Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for more than 72.5 million Americans will increase 2.5% in 2025. The 2.5 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will begin with benefits payable to Social Security beneficiaries in January 2025. Increased payments to SSI beneficiaries will begin on December 31, 2024. On average, Social Security retirement benefits will increase by about $50 per month.
